Wufeng Chicheng Biotech Co., Ltd. was founded in November 2004. Its main businesses are R&D, production, and sales of hydrolyzed tannin series products. Products are exported to many countries and regions worldwide.



The company is a "Specialized, Refined, Distinctive and Innovative" Little Giant, a National High-Tech Enterprise, a National Key Leading Forestry Industrialization Enterprise, a Manufacturing Single Champion of Hubei Province, and a Key Leading Agricultural Industrialization Enterprise of Hubei Province.



Leveraging platforms including the National Engineering Technology Research Center for Efficient Cultivation and Deep Processing of Chinese Gallnut, the National Innovation Alliance for the Chinese Gallnut Industry, and an Academician Expert Workstation, the company builds a full-industry-chain innovation system and advances basic research and new-product development across the gallnut value chain. It has carried out industry–university–research cooperation with multiple domestic institutes and undertaken national, provincial, municipal, and county-level projects.



Guided by the mission "Creating plant tannin value and driving a healthier future" and the vision of building "a global innovation platform for the plant polyphenol value chain," and aligned with the Hubei Biomedical Industry Layout Map, the company is progressively locating high-value downstream projects in the Wufeng Ethnic Industrial Park to accelerate technology commercialization. Through a comprehensive headquarters industrial park, it aims for higher-quality, more efficient, more sustainable, and safer development.
